Cookie policy
Last update : 17/09/2026
This page lists what this site stores on your device, and why. It is the reference the consent banner points at.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the site to work at all. They carry no tracking, are never shared, and are exempt from consent — refusing them would mean refusing the site itself.
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in between pages. Deleted when you sign out, and expires on its own.
- NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the language you chose, so every page answers in it.
- sidebar_state — remembers whether you left the side menu open or collapsed.
Tracking cookies
This site loads Google Analytics 4, through Google Tag Manager. It measures the audience — pages viewed, where visitors came from, device type — and nothing else: no advertising is served here, and no data is sold or passed to an advertiser. The processing is carried out by Google Ireland Limited.
- _ga and _ga_<identifier> — tell visitors apart so visits can be counted. Placed by Google Analytics, expiring after 2 years.
- _gid — the same role over a single day. Expires after 24 hours.
The measurements themselves are kept for 14 months in Google Analytics, after which they are deleted. None of this is loaded until you have accepted audience measurement: without your agreement, no request is sent to Google.
Changing your mind
Your choice is kept for 182 days, after which you are asked again. You can change it at any time from the Manage cookies link, which is on every page. Refusing a category erases the cookies it had placed.
Proof of your choice
Each choice is recorded — the categories you accepted or refused, the version of this page that was in force, and the date. Your IP address is never part of that record.
